Sharing files with Filemail is as easy as sending an email attachment. Just follow the step-by-step instructions below:
- To attach files or folders, you can either drag and drop them or use the "Add Files" or "Add Folder" buttons. This is similar to attaching a file to an email.
- Choose how to send files: share the recipient's email for email sharing or stay anonymous and get a link to share.
- Click "Send" to confirm and upload your files. For faster transfer rates, we'll upload them to the nearest secure Filemail server.
- Once we host your files on our secure cloud storage, we generate a link and send it to your specified recipients. Alternatively, you can share the download link as you wish.
With Filemail you get the option to upload folders instead of files. Instead of choosing individual files, you can simplify uploading by selecting the folder that holds all the files.
Absolutely. The people you share files with do not need to have an account with us. All they need to do is use the secure link to download whatever you shared with them.
We store files uploaded by free and Basic users for 7 days. Paid users can set an expiration date for their files. Filemail stores uploaded files from Pro users for a maximum of 30 days. Business and Enterprise users can choose to keep their files indefinitely if they want.
