The idea behind Filemail.com was born summer 2007 in Oslo, Norway. We felt that it was too difficult to email large files (>50MB). There had to be a way of doing this?

After googling a bit looking for solutions, sites like megaupload.com and rapidshare.com came to our attention. These sites attempt to address the problem of emailing/sharing large files in various ways. After testing pretty much all of them we still didn't feel satisfied - they all have one or more flaws (in our opinion):

●	They often require registration
●	They often have file size limitations of around 300 MB (when you don't purchase a membership)
●	They are often hard to use because of horrible user interface and too many ads
●	Almost all of them use old upload mechanisms which force the sender to browse and select one file at a time

We decided to try to make something better.
Some of the functionality Filemail.com can offer (so far) are:

●	No registration required
●	Max file size is 2GB
●	Easy to use (atleast we hope so)
●	Upload window allows selecting multiple files
